Physical activity and health in children
Several studies have shown that children who are more physically active in school learn more, perform better in school and enjoy a better working environment than those who are less active.
The effects of regular physical activity on children’s behavior and ability to take in new information are immediate, and the long-term effects on cognitive, spatial and over all physical ability, are nothing but great.
Many of the health related problems we se among children today, such as type-2 diabetes, insulin resistance and overweight, can actually be counter acted and even reversed by adequate, regular physical activity.
